YUMMY CHEESY CHICKEN COOKIES
YUMMY CHEESY CHICKEN COOKIES
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 cup finely grated cheddar cheese
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/3 cup finely chopped/shredded cooked chicken
2 tbsp chicken broth
1 tbsp ground flax seed
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
1. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mix together the flour, flax seed, shredded cheddar cheese and chicken.
3. Add applesauce and chicken broth, and knead until mixed.
4. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately 1/4" and cut into shapes with cookie cutters
4. Place the cutouts on a cookie sheet and bake for 25 minutes.
5. Remove cookies from the oven and let them cool completely before handling.
Store cookies in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
